In a maths class,the girl to boy ratio is 7:5 if there are 20 boys,how many girls are there?​

Answer:

Let total students be ‘X’

No of girls = (X-20)

Girls/Boys=7/5=(X-20)/20

7(20) =5(X-20)

140=5X-100

5X=240

X = 240/5

X =48

So, Total Students are 48

No of girls = (X-20) = 48-20 = 28
