Answer:

the 4th answer : a = 3 and b = sqrt(3)

Explanation:

remember that i = sqrt(-1).

so, when you "take out" -1 of -3, you get 3.

sqrt(-3) = sqrt(3×-1) = sqrt(3)×sqrt(-1) = sqrt(3)i

3 + √(-3)
= 3 + √(-1 • 3)
= 3 + √(3) • √(-1)
we know that i is √(-1)
Therefore, this whole thing is:
3 + √3 • i

and so in the form of a + bi,
a = 3,
b = √3

Hope this helps
