Angle P and angle Q make a

90° angle.
Angle P = 62°
Angle Q = 4x
What is the value of x?

Substitute the values of angles P and Q in an equation that equals 90 degrees

62° + 4x = 90°

Then isolate the variable by first subtracting 62 from both sides

62 + 4x = 90 → 4x = 28

-62 -62

Then divide both sides by 4

4x = 28 → x = 7

/4 /4
