first you need to change the sign of the constant which is in power.

Standard Formula ::

x^(-n)

= 1/(x^n)

So it can be seen from the above equation how the sign of the power is reversed once it is taken at the denominator position.

Just like that only,

3^(-2)

= 1/(3^2)

=1/9

Answer:

0.11111111111

Explanation:

Any number taken to the zeroth power = 1 therefore, 3^-2 = 1/3^2 = 1/9 = 0.111111111 recurring.
