You could use the formula:

Tan Θ =
(Opposite side)/(adjacent side)

The opposite side is 'x' and the adjacent side is 15. Θ is 39°. So replace all the terms in the formula.

Tan 39° =
(x)/(15)

Now that 15 to the other side to multiply with Tan 39° and find the value of 'x'.

x = Tan 39° × 15

x = 12.1467605

x = 12.1 (to the nearest tenth) (The '1' after the decimal is 'to the nearest tenth' and since 4 next 1 is less that '5', there will be no need to too add '+1' to '1')
