So you always have to use PEMDAS
PARENTHESES/EXPONENT/MULTIPLICATION/DIVISION/ ADDITION/SUBTRACTION. MAKE SURE YOU START IN ORDER

when doing expression like this u need to first do whatever is in the parenthesis, in this case u need to add 2 and 5
