A relation contains the points (-5, -10), (-2, -4), (-1,-2), (4,8) and (5,10). is this a function?

Yes. each x-value has one distinct y-value as an output as opposed to have the points be (-5,-10) (-5,-7) (-2,-4) (-1, -2) (4,8) and (5,10) which wouldn’t be a function because x=-5 equals both -10 and -7
