y-intercept is where the line meets the y-axis; which in this case, is -2.

slope is rise/run = rise(2)/run(-2) = -1
OR
slope formula : y2-y1/x2-x1
use any two points, (-2,0) and (0,-2)

-2-0/0-(-2)
-2/2
slope= -1

D would be the answer

Just go to were the line intercepts the y axis so -2 and rise over run so 2 up and 2 over but its negative so C should be correct.
