First set up your equations, with x/2 +7= 3(x/5 +2). From here distribute the 3 to get 3x/5 + 6

Now subtract 6 from both sides to get
x/2 +1 = 3x/5

Multiply by ten to eliminate the 5 and 2 on the bottom to get 5x + 10 = 6x.

Subtract 5x so you’re left with x= 10

Hope this helps !
