Why do u think teens are so susceptible to being introduced to drug use?

Since it is mainly introduced in friend groups and at school many teens either feel pressured or they say I’m just going to try it once I can’t get addicted and since it is constantly around them they start to crave it and then start to use and get addicted, it also makes them numb and many teens enjoy the feeling of there problems going away, another thing is it could have effects on them etc weight loss
