Answer: C. abnormalities associated with developmental and reproductive systems.

Explanation: Sorry for the very lack-luster explanation. Just a quick summary of what HAAs are, Hormonally Active Agents are chemicals in the environment that may cause developmental and reproductive abnormalities in animals, including humans.

To clarify regarding the other answer for this question, it is NOT A! Current studies of frogs indicate that some of the changes in male frogs are resulting from their exposure to atrazine, the most commonly used herbicide in the United States today. It's a herbicide/weed-killer, not an insecticide!

Also, in areas affected by atrazine, between 10 and 92% of male frogs exhibit gonadal abnormalities, meaning they have both male and female REPRODUCTIVE organs. Other frogs have vocal sacs with stunted GROWTH. Sound like what HAAs are? Cause it is an HAA!

Hope this answer helps :)
