Work out the perimeter of the large triangle.
Give your answer in mm.

each side of smaller triangle = √(28²+45²) = 53 mm

(larger base)/(smaller base) = 168/56 = 3

each side of larger triangle = 3×53 = 159

perimeter of larger triangle = 159+159+168 = 486 mm

Perpendicular height will split the base into two equal parts.

Use Pythagorean theorem,

hypotenuse² = base² + altitude²

= 28² + 45²

= 784 + 2025

= 2809

hypotenuse = √2809 = √53 * 53 = 53 mm

Perimeter = 53 + 53 + 56 = 162mm
