Mass of the block = 10 Kg

Acceleration = 2.5 m/s²

Let the smaller force = F

Bigger force = 4 F

Now,

F + 4F = m a

5F = 10 x 2.5

F = 5 N

If smaller mass is removed acceleration = ?

4F = m a

4 x 5 = 10 x a


a=(20)/(10)

a = 2 m/s²

Acceleration of the mass is equal to 2 m/s².
