Do the parenthesis first, 3+7=10, then do the exponent and get 256,multiply 3 times 10 and get 30, do 256 divided by 2 and get 128, finally do 30-128 to get 98.

98 is your answer

Answer:

22/15=x

Explanation:

Well first off we have to do the stuff in the parentheses-

3x(3+7)-42=2

9x+21x-42=2 Now we have to get x by itself

+42 +42

9x+21x=44 Now add the like terms

30x=44 Divide by 30

/30 /30 30 chancels out

44/30 Simplify

22/15=x
