Place help asap

. Your mother is preparing dough for making bhaturas, and she added a
pinch of yeast and some sugar to it. She kept the mixture in a warm place.
After an hour she observes that the dough has increased in volume.
a) Why did the dough increase in volume?
b) Do you think there is a change in smell and taste of dough? Give
reason for your answer.
c) Name the process observed here. Also mention another food item
where this process is used.

  1. it is because carbon dioxide was formed inside the yeast.
  2. Yes, alcohol was formed by the mixture of yeast, sugar , etc.
  3. The process observed in this is yeast fermentation process.
