Answer: 200%

Explanation: 630.12(A) of the 2023 NEC states: Each welder shall have overcurrent protection rated or set at not more than 200% of the maximum value of the rated supply current. If the maximum is not given, the overcurrent protection shall be rated or set at not more than 200% of the rated primary current of the welder.

Perhaps this changed from previous code due to nuisance tripping?
