25 people total
passing mark is 50%

total number of people (25) - people who didn’t pass (11) = people who passed

25-11=14

Step 1: 25 - 11 = 14 (This is the number of pupils who passed the test)

Step 2: 14/25 = .56

Step 3: .56 is 56%

Answer: 56% of pupils passed the test
