Answer:

(11x)/(15)

Explanation:

Before we can add the 2 fractions we require them to have a common denominator

the LCM of 3 and 5 is 15

multiply the numerator and denominator of the first fraction by 5

multiply the numerator and denominator of the second fraction by 3

(x)/(3) +
(2x)/(5)

=
(5x)/(5(3)) +
(3(2x))/(3(5))

=
(5x)/(15) +
(6x)/(15)

now add the numerators over the common denominator

=
(5x+6x)/(15)

=
(11x)/(15)
