The acceleration of the dragster=4.45m/s^2

Explanation:

s=ut +1/2at^2

Distance=500m

time=15sec

starting from rest the initial velocity u=0

substituting the values into the formula

500=0×15+1/2a(15)^2

500=1/2a(225)

500×2=225a

1000=225a

1000÷225=a

a=4.45m/s^2
