ratio of volumes = a³ : b³

here ratio of sides = 5 : 6

ratio of volumes = 5³ : 6³ = 125 : 216

let x be the volume of the larger prism then by proportion


(ratio)/(volume)

=
(216)/(x) =
(125)/(300) ( cross- multiply )

125x = 64800 ( divide both sides by 125 )

x = 518.4

then volume of larger prism is 518.4 in³
