Answer:

The Area of the polygon is 36m².

Explanation:

Area of the polygon= Area of rectangle + Area of triangle

Diagram

______________

l. l \

3m |. 3m l. \

|. l. /

|_____________ l /

11m. 2m

( 13m).

Area of rectangle= Length × Width

= 11m × 3m

= 33m²

Area of triangle= ½ × base × height

To find the height= 13m - 11m = 2m

= ½ × 3 × 2

= ½ × 6

= 3m²

Area of the polygon= 33m² + 3m² = 36m²
