I stood in the dark, empty room, trying to understand what was happening. Had my family abandoned me? Had they moved without telling me? Or was this some kind of prank? As I tried to process my thoughts, the phone rang again. I hesitated before answering, but my curiosity got the best of me. "Hello?" I said tentatively. There was a moment of silence before a voice replied. "It's me, Sarah. Are you okay?" It was my best friend, Sarah. Relief washed over me as I realized that this was all some kind of mistake. I explained to Sarah what had happened and she promised to come over and help me figure out what was going on. As I waited for her to arrive, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was very wrong. When Sarah finally arrived, we searched the house together and eventually discovered that all of our belongings had been taken. It was clear that we had been robbed, but what was even more troubling was that there was no sign of forced entry. Whoever had taken our things must have had a key to the house. We called the police and waited anxiously for their arrival, wondering who could have done this to us.
