Answer:

→f(x) = 2x - 1 \\→ g(x) = 9x \\→ f(3) = 2(3) - 1 \\ f(3) = 6 - 1 \\ f(3) = 5 \\→ g(1) = 9(1) \\ g(1) = 9 \\→ f(3) + g(1) = 5 + 9 \\ \boxed{f(3) + g(1) = 14}

  • f(3) + f(1) = 14 is the right answer.

Given :

  • f(x) = 2x - 1
  • g(x) = 9x

To Find :

  • f(3) + g(1) = ?

Solution :

As, we have :

  • f(x) = 2x - 1

Therefore,

f(3) = 2(3) - 1 = 6 - 1 = 5

Now, g(x) = 9x

Therefore,

g(1) = 9(1) = 9

Now, we have to find value of f(3) + g(1) :

By substituting values, we have :

f(3) + g(1) = 5 + 9 = 14

Hence, value of f(3) + g(1) is 14.
