Answer:

the quadrilateral is a trapezium,

area of trapezium ABCD = AB(AD + BC)/2

By distance formula,

AD = 5 units

BC = 9 units

AB = 6 units

area = 6(5+9)/2

=6×7

=42

option D is correct
