First rearrange set from smallest to largest:
1, 3, 3, 6, 10, 10, 11, 14

Now since the amount of data in this set is even we need to get the average of 6 and 10( because there in the middle):
6+10=16 16/2=8

Therefore the median of the data set is 8

The median is:

⇨ 8

Work/explanation:

First, we arrange the values from least to greatest.

3, 10, 1, 6, 10, 3, 11, 14

Becomes

1, 3, 3, 6, 10, 10, 11, 14

We have an even amount of values, so what we do is we find the mean of the two numbers in the middle.

Recall that to find the mean of 2 numbers, we add them and divide by 2:

\bf{(6+10)/(2)}

\bf{(16)/(2)}

\bf{8}

Hence, 8 is the median.
