Why are European plants not as suited to the Australian environment

when the plants are in Europe they have the sun but it's also colder there so the thermal heat won't effect the plant as much and it adapts to the effects of the sun above Europe. when transfered to Australia it takes a while to adapt to the thermal heating because it's not as cold and it's much much more warmer there so it will die from faster water evaporation and overheating..... hope this helps
