given: r=20 and y=16


20^(2) =\sqrt16^(2) +x^(2) \\400=\sqrt{256+ x^(2) \\

move x to the other side (when x is moving to the other side the sign change)

x²= √400-256 subtract

x= √144 take the square root

x= 12
