Prokaryotic -
Do not have a nucleus
Have DNA arranged in a circular chromosome
Do not have membrane bound organelles
Smaller in size
Older
Eukaryotic-
Have a nucleus, vacuoles, mitochondria
Have DNA arranged in a linear chromosome
Have membrane bound organelles
Larger in size
Both-
Contain: cell membrane, cytoplasm, ribosomes, DNA
Function is to make proteins
have certain parts that help them accomplish their function
