The rock cycle works by the rocks moving around. Weathering and erosin makes sediment or something like sand, that sand is put under a lot of pressure until it becomes a solid mass. After that heat and more pressure are added to the rock to make it metamorphic. after that it is heated again until it becomes magma. the ignious rock is made by the cooling of the lava( its lava when it gose above ground). Then the whole cycle repeats.
