to get the equation of any straight line, we simply need two points off of it, let's use those two in the picture below


(\stackrel{x_1}{-3}~,~\stackrel{y_1}{-6})\qquad (\stackrel{x_2}{4}~,~\stackrel{y_2}{8}) \\\\\\ \stackrel{slope}{m}\implies \cfrac{\stackrel{\textit{\large rise}} {\stackrel{y_2}{8}-\stackrel{y1}{(-6)}}}{\underset{\textit{\large run}} {\underset{x_2}{4}-\underset{x_1}{(-3)}}} \implies \cfrac{8 +6}{4 +3} \implies \cfrac{ 14 }{ 7 } \implies 2

Answer: y=2x+0

Explanation: this is a linear equation , the equation for this is y=mx+b.
you can find 2 pretty points and do y2-y1/x2-x1
For y-intercept you look at where the line meets the y axis
