Here you would use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve this. We know that 3 squares is 300km, so 1 square is 100km.

It is 6 wide, and 6 tall.

a^2+b^2=c^2 => 6^2 + 6^2 = h^2

c is the hypotenuse, a and b are the legs, interchangeable.

72 = h^2

Square root both sides and get:

you can plug this into calculator to get final answer or simplify it.


√((32)*2)

root 36 is equal to 6 so we can write it as...
