√(84) can be further simplified to
2√(21)

To simplify a radical, you just need to divide by squares you already know

In this case, divide 84 by 4 (which is the square of 2)

This will give you 21. Leave that inside the radical. Outside the root, leave the 2 as multiplier to
√(21).
