let x be the required angle then

x =
(2)/(3) ( 90 - x) [ complementary angles sum to 90° ]

x = 60 -
(2)/(3) x ( add
(2)/(3) x to both sides )


(5)/(3) x = 60 ( multiply both sides by
(3)/(5) )

x = 36°

note 36° is
(2)/(3) of 54°
