Answer:

x = 20 , z = 92

Explanation:

(6x - 28) and (9x - 92) are a linear pair and sum to 180° , then

6x - 28 + 9x - 92 = 180

15x - 120 = 180 ( add 120 to both sides )

15x = 300 ( divide both sides by 15 )

x = 20

then

6x - 28 = 6(20) - 28 = 120 - 28 = 92

z and ( 6x - 28) are vertically opposite angles and are congruent , so

z = 92
