As we are learning about and practicing claims in

our lessons, it is time to start thinking about what
topic you may want to argue in your argument
piece. Consider the topics we have been
discussing in class: freedom, control, equality
(racial, gender, etc), and more; if you were the
president, what social issue would you address
first? Why? How? This should be a minimum of
three well thought sentences.

If i was the president, the first thing that i would change is people allowed into the military. Transgender individuals are not allowed into the military as of right now, this is a violation of freedom and is also discriminatory. The second thing I would do is fix the pay gap between women, men, and people of color.
