Sum of two numbers is 29 and one number exceeds another by 5. Find the numbers.​

First number = 12
Second number = 17

x + x + 5 = 29
2x + 5 = 29
2x = 24
x = 12

So, one number is 12 and the other one is 12 + 5 = 17
17 is greater than 12 by 5
12 + 17 = 29
