If I desire to have a third party contact GMC about my grades, attendance or any other sensitive/confidential matter, this will be coordinated by my professor and the appropriate department chair or academic dean. However, parents and third parties are not to contact professors directly as only the student is allowed to do that?

Final answer:

Students must follow institutional protocols for discussing sensitive information with professors at GMC. Parents and third parties require coordination with higher authorities, respecting academic integrity and maintaining a fair academic environment.

Step-by-step explanation:

When dealing with academic integrity and sensitive information such as grades or attendance, students must adhere to protocols set by their educational institution. At GMC, for instance, students are expected to maintain authenticity in their academic pursuits and handle their matters directly with professors.

If a third party, including parents, wishes to discuss confidential matters, they must go through the proper channels, coordinating with the professor, department chair, or academic dean. Direct contact from third parties to professors is not permitted; this ensures that a fair and positive experience is maintained for all stakeholders and the integrity of the academic environment is preserved.
