Transient ischemic dilation (TID) can be observed in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy despite normal myocardial perfusion.

In vasodilator stress myocardial perfusion imaging, transient ischemic dilation (TID) occurs when there is abnormal dilation of the left ventricle in response to stress due to coronary artery disease (CAD). However, there is a rare condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (B) where TID can also be observed despite normal myocardial perfusion.
