Answer:

9 quarters and 6 nickels

Explanation:

15 total coins.

At least 3 of those coins are quarters.

So, 15 - 3 is 12, now divide 12 by 2 (or the groups of coins we have), the answer is 6, so there are 6 nickels. But the quarters also have 3 others, so 6+3 is 9, so there are 9 quarters.
