The excel table attached shows the answers to the questions from the 20 hypothetical people I interviewed.
Based on the collected information above, the conclusions that i draw are:
- The majority of people (16 out of 20) participate in elections and vote.
- Only a small number of people (4 out of 20) have been offered bribes or gifts to vote for a particular candidate.
- No one has been stopped forcibly from casting a vote.
- The majority of people (18 out of 20) feel that the police provide security without bias.
- Only a small number of people (1 out of 20) believe that anti-social elements are used by candidates in their constituency during campaigning.
Therefore, the data tells us that elections are generally free and fair in the country. But, there is some evidence of corruption and voter intimidation, and it is important to be vigilant against these practices.
