This is Marin's beautiful horse Romeo. Romeo is 59 inches tall. Horses are measured in hands though. The conversion is 1 hand =4 inches. So how many hands would this be?

Answer: hope this helps ♡

So it would be nearly 15 hands.

Explanation:

4 inches = 1 hand

59 inches = ? hands

59 ÷ 4 = number of hands

59 ÷ 4 = 14.75

14.75 ≈ 15

59 inches ≈ 15 hands

This is Marin’s beautiful horse Romeo, standing proudly at 59 inches tall. However, in the equestrian world, we measure horses in hands. Fear not, for I shall convert Romeo’s height into this equine-friendly unit!

1 hand is equivalent to 4 inches.

Now, let’s calculate Romeo’s height in hands:

Divide Romeo’s height in inches by 4: [ \frac{{59 \text{ inches}}}{{4 \text{ inches/hand}}} = 14.75 \text{ hands} ]

Since we can’t have a fraction of a hand, we’ll round down to the nearest whole number:

Romeo’s height is approximately 14.3 hands (where 0.3 represents the remaining 3 inches).

So, Marin’s majestic steed, Romeo, stands at approximately 14.3 hands!
