Answer:

y = (2/3)x + 7

Explanation:

(6,11) and (2, (25/3))

Calculate the Rise/Run for these two points. Going from lowest x to highest:

(2, (25/3)) to (6,11)

Rise = 11 - (25/3) or (33/3) - (25/3) equals (8/3) or 2 and (2/3)

Run = 4

Slope = Rise/Run

Slope = (8/3)/4

Slope = (2/3)

y = (2/3)x + b

11 = (2/3)*6 + b for point (6,11)

11 = 4 + b

b = 7

y = (2/3)x + 7

Write an equation in slope-intercept form of the line that passes through (6,11) and-example-1
