The equation is y = 11.6*x, and the complete table is:

x: 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2

y: 5.8, 11.6, 17.4, 23.2

How to make the table?

We know that Miguel rode his byje for 2.5 hours and traveled a distance of 29 miles, then his speed is:

k = 29mi/2.5h = 11.6 mi/h

Then the distance as a function of time is:

y = 11.6*x

Where y is the time in hours.

Now we want to commplete the table for the times .5 hours, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, and 2 hours, to do so, we need to evaluate the equation:

if x = 0.5

y = 11.6*0.5 = 5.8

if x = 1

y = 11.6*1 = 11.6

if x = 1.5

y = 11.6*1.5 = 17.4

if x = 2

y = 11.6*2 = 23.2

The table is:

x: 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2

y: 5.8, 11.6, 17.4, 23.2
