The area of the shaded region is 1254 m²

Area of circle :

  • πr²

The area of the circle : π * 10² = 314 m²

Area of triangle :

  • 1/2 × base × height

The area : 1/2 × 56 × 56 = 1568 m²

The area of shaded region:

  • Area of triangle - Area of circle

Area of shaded region : 1568 - 314 = 1254 m²

Hence, the correct option is A.
