If the company used 94953.6 centimeters cubed of steel, the number of rods used is 63.

The volume formula of a cylinder is V = πr²h.

Where π is pi, r is the radius, and h is the height.

Diameter = 8 centimeters

Radius =
(1)/(2) diameter =
(1)/(2) x 8 = 4 centimeters

Height of the cylinder = 30 centimeters

The total volume of rods used = 94,953.6 cm³

Volume per cylinder = 22/7 x 4² x 30

= 3.14 x 16 x 30

= 1,507.2 cm³

The number of rods used = Total steel used / Volume of one rod Number of rods

= 62.939866 (94,953.6 cm³/1,507.2 cm³)

≈ 63 rods

Thus, we can conclude that 63 rods were used.
