a) In order

12KB → 936KB → 42.5MB → 1.14GB → 6.3TB.

bi) 2848 photos.

ii) 28288 more of 1.5MB photo size.

iii) 238 photos of 3.6MB.

iv) I will suggest she uses 2.4MB sized photos.

How the number of photos were calculated.

a) The order from the smallest to largest:Kilobyte (KB) → Megabyte (MB) → Gigabyte (GB) → Terabyte (TB).

so, 12KB → 936KB → 42.5MB → 1.14GB → 6.3TB.

bi) if 1GB can store 178 photos of 4.8 MB

Number of 4.8MB in 16GB = 178 * 16

= 2848 photos.

ii) 1GB stores 572 photos of 1.5MB

64GB will store = 64 * 572 = 36608

1GB stores 130 photos of 6.6MB

64GB will store = 64 * 130 = 8320

The difference = 36608 - 8320

= 28288 more of 1.5MB photo size

c) If 715 photos of 1.2MB can be stored in 1GB

But 3.6MB = 1.2MB * 3

Therefore, approximately the number of 3.6MB that can be stored on 1GB is

= 715/3 = 238 photos of 3.6MB.

iv) To store 13000 photos on 13GB, Sue will has consider this

No of 1.2MB photos = 715 * 32 = 22,880

No of 1.5MB photos = 572 * 32 = 18304

No of 1.8MB photos = 476 * 32 = 15233

No of 2.4MB photos = 357 * 32 = 11424

No of 3.0MB photos = 286 *32 = 9152

No of 4.8MB photos = 178 * 32 = 5696

No of 6.6MB photos = 130 * 32 = 4160

Of all the photo sizes, the number of 2.4MB sized photos that can be stored in 32GB is close to the number she want to store.

Therefore, I will suggest she uses 2.4MB sized photos.
