(5a²-25a+20) ÷ (a-1)
= 5(a²-5a+4) ÷ (a-1)
= 5(a-1)(a-4) ÷ (a-1)
= 5(a-1)(a-4) / (a-1)
{ (a-1) is crossed out }
= 5(a-4)
