Remember the chant "soh cah toa"

sine = opposite ÷ hypotheneus

cosine = adjacent ÷ hypotheneus

tangent = opposite ÷ adjacent

remember that hypotheneus is the slanty side, opposite and adjacent side is in COMPARISON with the angle you want to find.

In this case, tan B would be 15/8

sinB = 15/17

cosB = 8/17
