How to graph the inequalities?
Here we have two inequalities in two variables, these are:
-5 < x < 3
-3 < y < 0
First, the first inequality:
-5 < x < 3
This is a segment between -5 and 3, to graph this, we can graph two lines:
x = -5
x = 3
With dashed lines (because the points in these lines aren't solutions, this is because the symbols used are > and <) and then shade all the region between.
Then we do something similar with:
y = -3
and y = 0, and shade the region between.
