The equation has 2 solutions: -0.8 and -0.3.
Step-by-step explanation:
10n + 8 = 3 + 10n
10n+8 = 0 ............. (1)
3+10n = 0 ............. (2)
(1):
10n+8 = 0
10n = -8
n = -8/10 or -0.8
(2):
3+10n = 0
10n = -3
n = -3/10 or -0.3
